This Mitsubishi Canter came in undrivable with serious clutch issues.
After the boys investigated, it was clear a clutch replacement was on the cards. Whilst we were at it, we replaced the slave cylinder, rear main seal and machined the fly wheel.
It's now back together, shifting smoothly and ready to get back on the road.

We had a Mack towed in from the highway on it's way to Adelaide after the driver reported the truck wasn’t building air properly. At first, the tow operator had no issues when he supplied air...

After tracing the supply line to the air dryer, we uncovered a known Mack issue - clogged supply lines and a blocked air dryer. Once the lines were cleared and a new dryer and filter installed, along with faulty compressor we discovered during fault tracing, that we replaced with a genuine Wabco unit, everything worked as it should.

Another problem solved, and the driver was back on the road to Adelaide with confidence.

It's all in a day's work, but there are remedies like these that are very satisfying, knowing you've helped someone get back on the job quickly. Good times!

Daily and weekly pre-start checks really do pay off! We recently found oil mixing into the coolant on a dry-sleeved engine.

After removing the radiator for cleaning (the core was too far gone and had to be re-cored), we replaced the water pump and oil cooler gaskets. We also pressure-washed the coolant passages in the block before reassembling everything with fresh gaskets.

Regular checks help catch issues early before they become major problems. In the end it always keeps your fleet running smoother, repairs are cheaper and keeps downtime to a minimum.

We had an interesting job onsite this week on a TERRASELECT T6 Trommel Screen.

The rear conveyor was slowing down and fluctuating in speed. After making some adjustments we found the trommel belt had stopped driving altogether - even with full oil supply from both belts.

To make sure the speed control was doing its job, we installed a pressure gauge in-line with the hydraulic motor and confirmed we could adjust flow and pressure. That pointed us to the motor itself.
Once replaced, the machine was back up and running smoothly and the customer was back on the job.
