πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ TRADE SCHOOLS DESERVE REAL RESPECT β€” AND REAL INVESTMENT.

Not every young person’s future is built in a lecture hall. Some futures are built with tools, machines, wiring, engines, brickwork, welding, plumbing, joinery, farming equipment, and the kind of practical skill this country depends on every single day. πŸ”§πŸšœβš™οΈ

For too long, skilled trades have been treated like a β€œsecond choice” when, in reality, Britain cannot function without them. Who fixes the homes? Who keeps the power running? Who builds the roads, hospitals, schools, farms, and workshops? Who keeps industries moving when something breaks? Skilled workers do. πŸ’ͺπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Universities matter, but trade schools matter too. A nation that needs builders, engineers, electricians, mechanics, welders, carers, technicians, and apprentices should never look down on practical education. These are not lesser paths β€” they are essential paths.

If Britain wants a stronger future, it must invest in the people who can actually build it.

Respect the trades. Fund technical education. Give young people more than one route to success. πŸ™Œ

For far too long, people acted as if success only came with a four-year degree.
Meanwhile, plumbers, electricians, welders, carpenters, mechanics, HVAC technicians, and countless other skilled trades were quietly keeping the country running. These careers require training, knowledge, discipline, and hard work. They solve real problems every day and often provide excellent incomes without decades of student debt.
College is a great path for some people. Trade school is a great path for others. The truth is, a society needs both. Many Americans believe it's time we stopped treating one path as superior to the other and started respecting skilled trades for the valuable work they do.
