That's a wrap on Gladstone! ⚓

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Supervisors Workshop with David and Lowanna this week! Great conversations, plenty of ideas shared around the tables, and not a bad of the harbour view either.

Now, where to next?

We're heading a long way west to a town in outback Queensland. It's where the Royal Flying Doctor Service first took off, and it has a big place in the early Qantas story too.

The IPWEA-QNT Futures Challenge highlights the next generation of public works professionals and provides a platform for emerging talent to share innovative ideas with industry leaders.

Each year, final-year engineering students from universities across Queensland are invited to showcase their thesis or research project to delegates at the IPWEA-QNT Annual Conference.

Following a competitive submission process, three outstanding students were selected as finalists for 2026, presenting their research to an audience of more than 400 public works and infrastructure professionals.
