At IPWEA-QNT, we are privileged to work alongside professionals dedicated to creating and maintaining the infrastructure that communities rely on every day.
The recent floods in Nepal are a stark reminder of how devastating natural disasters can be. While damaged roads, bridges, water networks, and public facilities often become the visible symbols of recovery, the impact reaches much further. Families are displaced, livelihoods are disrupted, and communities face the challenge of rebuilding their lives.
As engineers, many of our members understand that resilient infrastructure plays a critical role in recovery. However, true recovery is about more than restoring physical assets. It is about restoring safety, connection, opportunity, and hope.
In support of affected communities, IPWEA-QNT has established a fundraising campaign through Australian Red Cross to assist relief and recovery efforts in Nepal.
Participation is entirely voluntary, but we invite those who are able to consider supporting this important cause. Whether through a donation, sharing this message, or simply helping raise awareness, every act of support can make a meaningful difference.
Together, we can help communities rebuild not only infrastructure, but also resilience, confidence, and hope for the future.β€οΈ
