Colour in natural stone is never static. It moves, layers and shifts with the light; and these six new arrivals show just how diverse nature’s palette can be.

Sakura Green Marble moves through soft sage and grey, with unexpected washes of blush and rust bringing warmth. Arabescato Vagli Marble, a classic Italian white marble traced with intricate warm grey-green & blush veining.

At the deeper end of the palette, Verde Minerale is rich and commanding, with a forest green base cut through by ribbons of lime and cream. Black Forest Paradiso Granite brings dramatic movement, with sweeping silver formations against an almost-black ground.

Silver Root Marble with warm grey tones, branching charcoal veining and delicate threads of bronze, while Ocean Blue Vein Cut Travertine brings an earthy rhythm through linear bands of sea blue, sand and silver.

Six stones, six completely different expressions of colour.

When a home is built around granite boulders, every material has to answer to the landscape.

At Rye Cave House, Verde Picasso Granite runs the length of the timber joinery, its mossy green movement echoing the tea tree scrub beyond the windows. Its leathered finish brings a tactile, weathered quality to the kitchen and bathroom benchtops; closer to natural rock than a polished surface.

In the bathrooms, Classico and Philadelphia Silver Cross Cut Travertine carry warm, earthy tones across the walls and floors, grounding the timber bath and connecting the interiors to the bushland beyond.

This home is a reminder of what happens when stone is chosen to converse with its surroundings, rather than compete with them.

Marble and quartzite get confused daily, and quartzite vs quartz even more so. This is Series Two of our stone education series, and it settles some of the questions we hear most often on the warehouse floor.

Before a single wall was built, boulders sourced from the surrounding landscape were craned into position inside this remarkable Rye home; a decision that captures the vision behind the entire project.

Featured on Grand Designs, this custom home draws the outdoors in at every turn. Gardens line the entry hallway, while raw stone formations anchor the master suite and ensuite beneath a sweeping concrete structure.

Against these organic textures, our leathered Verde Picasso Granite brings rich depth and movement to the benchtops. Classico Travertine and Philadelphia Silver Travertine tiles to the bathrooms continue the natural palette, grounding the home in soft, tonal warmth.

This project is a beautiful example of what can happen when architecture, landscape and material are considered as one. Every element feels intentional, creating a home that appears to have emerged from the landscape itself.

This Armadale residence brings old and new together, using natural stone as a continuous thread throughout the home.

Calacatta Viola wraps the living room console, its rich plum and burgundy veining set against dark timber and hammered bronze.

Arabescato Vagli brings a cooler contrast, flowing from the bookmatched kitchen splashback and island through to the fireplace plinth, dressing room and outdoor kitchen.

In the bathroom, Stone Milk Matt porcelain tiles soften the palette.

Three distinct materials, thoughtfully balanced to bring warmth, character and unity to the home.

Pink is having its moment in interiors, and these four new arrivals make a strong case for keeping it there.

Cosmopolitan Pink Quartzite and Sakura Rose approach the palette from two distinct directions. Cosmopolitan Pink features a rich coral-pink base, crossed with fine, ink-dark veining and soft clouds of white that give the stone incredible depth. Sakura Rose is the gentler of the two, with a warm rose and dove-grey base threaded with deep forest-green veining, bringing structure to its softness.

Moving into earthier territory, Breccia Oniciata layers fragments of cream, honey and olive in a warm, sunlit composition. Breccia Pernice Classico turns up the intensity with terracotta, rust and ochre tones that feel as though they have been drawn directly from the landscape.

For designers working with warm, tonal palettes, these stones offer a considered way to introduce colour.
