Monash Motorsport is proud to be partnered with Advanced Composite Structures Australia(ACS-A), whose expertise in advanced composite manufacturing supports the development of our next-generation monocoque manufacturing processes.

ACS-A’s large-format CNC machining capabilities have enabled the development of a prototype monocoque pattern, forming a critical step in our transition from traditional sheet metal tooling to composite mould manufacturing. This process provides improved dimensional accuracy and greater design freedom, allowing us to further refine our composite manufacturing capabilities and push the boundaries of lightweight vehicle development.

Throughout their support in pattern machining and carbon-fibre mould post curing, ACS-A have provided invaluable technical advice on the project and manufacturing methods. Their capabilities allow us to develop more accurate, repeatable and efficient processes as we continue to innovate within Formula Student.

Monash Motorsport is proud to be partnered with Sourceman, whose high-quality PCB manufacturing and electronic assembly capabilities are crucial to the safety and performance of our high-voltage tractive system.

Sourceman manufactures the battery management system boards used within our accumulator, providing precise monitoring of 120 cells across the battery pack. These boards enable accurate measurement of cell voltage and temperature, allowing our team to implement advanced battery management strategies while maintaining reliable operation under demanding race conditions.

Through their expertise in PCB fabrication and assembly, Sourceman delivers the precision and reliability required for critical electrical systems. Monash Motorsport is proud to be partnered with SMC, whose pneumatic solutions form the backbone of our drag reduction system (DRS).

DRS has been an aerodynamic hallmark of Formula 1 for fifteen seasons. Its underlying fundamentals carry across to our Formula Student racecar, where its rear wing flaps actuate along straight sections of track.

Our system pairs SMC's lightweight, durable solenoid with a compact, high-performance pneumatic cylinder. Together, they deliver fast actuation speeds and a strong bidirectional force that drives our rear wing flaps up and down while withstanding harsh conditions, allowing us to position our flaps precisely and consistently during prolonged racing stints. In turn, we can strategically reduce our aerodynamic drag to reach higher top speeds and attain faster lap times with confidence.

We are deeply grateful for our continued partnership with SMC as we continue to maximise our aerodynamic performance and race capabilities.

Whether you joined us in person or online, we sincerely thank you for making this year's launch night one to remember. From reflecting on our learnings with M25 to showcasing our most advanced race car yet with M26, this launch is a celebration of the team's unwavering passion, dedication, and hard work throughout the past year.
