Plastics & Chemical manufacturers create adhesives, foams, plastics, and other raw materials. When these materials are handled, conveyed, or dumped into processing equipment, chemical dust that can be toxic and combustible becomes airborne. Some examples of chemical dust include cadmium, zinc oxide, chromium, iron oxide and cobalt.
In the plastics industry, most plastic dust is released into the air during processes where solid plastics, resins or fibre-reinforced plastics are moved, machined, ground, or cleaned. Some common plastic dust types include acrylic (PMMA), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), nylon, Delrin/acetal, polyethylene terephthalate (PET/PETE) and polycarbonate.
Industry challenges airborne chemicals, plastic and fibreglass dust, can be hazardous to workers, equipment, manufacturing plants and the environment. They can be toxic, combustible, and cross-contaminate products in other parts of a production line. Plastic dust carries an electrostatic charge. As a result, these dust particles are attracted to filter media and are challenging to pulse off. The static charge also creates an increased risk of sparks that can lead to the self-ignition of a combustible dust explosion.

We're thrilled to share our recent achievement in the installation of the Bosch ULS 6000 Steam boiler at one of our client's facilities. Here are the highlights of this successful project:

🔥 Boiler Efficiency Boost: The boiler was supplied with an economiser and a second-stage economiser, significantly enhancing its overall efficiency. This means better performance and cost savings for our client!

🔌 Clean-Burning Solution: To minimize environmental impact, we fitted the boiler with a Weishaupt Burner WM-G30, which runs on clean and efficient natural gas. Sustainability is at the forefront of our solutions.

💧 Optimal Pumping: We equipped the boiler with Grundfos VSD multi-stage pumps, ensuring precise and energy-efficient water circulation. Efficiency is key to us in every aspect of our work.

📊 Cutting-Edge Monitoring: For real-time data and control, we integrated a Spirax B850 In-house Energy Monitor, which records and monitors steam flow, gas flow, and water usage. Knowledge is power, and we're all about empowering our clients.
