Finishing another set of 300zx turbo. Factory T25 turbos have been high flowed into GT2860-5 specifications, ball bearing converted with upgraded wastegate actator. Usually seeing them making around the 320rwkws mark with the right supporing mods, tune and fuel.

BMW 335i N54 Twin Turbo High-Flow Upgrade!

Finishing off another set of BMW N54 high-flow turbochargers for a client's 335i!

These factory twin turbos have received our in-house high-flow treatment, designed to deliver significantly more power while maintaining excellent factory-like response.

Our upgrades include:
Brand-new bearings and seal kits
In-house rebuilt and upgraded CHRAs
Upsized 48mm billet compressor wheels
Upsized 45mm turbine wheels
Upgraded oversized thrust collars
Internal wastegate bushing and disc replacements (fixes the common N54 wastegate rattle)
Optional positive-pressure wastegate actuators

Recent result sent in by our client whom managed to achieve an impressive 358rwkW on Pump 98 fuel with supporting mod, limited by fuel system.

Custom Ball Bearing GT2860 Turbocharger – Sea-Doo Jet Ski Project

This is a compact custom turbocharger setup for a Sea-Doo Jet Ski, combining GT2860 -5 specifications with a small T2 .48 A/R GT-R turbine housing.

The aim is to deliver low boost with excellent boost response and strong performance while keeping the overall turbocharger package as compact as possible. Once the installation and tuning are completed, we're hoping to see around 150 HP from this little setup!

Finishing off another one of our ATR45SS turbochargers, this time heading to a client's Nissan Skyline R34 GTT!

This particular turbocharger has been one of our most impressive developments for the RB25DET platform, delivering an outstanding combination of GT3076-like response and serious top-end power!

Test car made 537 RWKW on E85 fuel using a Built RB25DET NEO engine on Factory camshafts, Externally gated

Over the years, we've built, tested and trialled countless turbocharger combinations on RB25DET engines, chasing the perfect balance between response, drivability and outright horsepower. Of all the setups we've tested, this particular turbo has delivered the best overall drivability within its power range, Highly recommended for people chasing responsive a 500rwkws out of built Rb25det / Neo motor.

Hyundai i30N – TD06SL2 Billet 20G Custom Turbo Build!

Finishing off another big job here at Hypergear Turbochargers!

This time, we're working on a Hyundai i30N turbocharger, with our client requesting a custom TD06SL2 Billet 20G setup for testing and tuning.

Rather than a conventional high-flow upgrade, we've taken things a step further with a custom-built turbocharger package!

🔧 Build Specifications:

✅ In-house built TD06SL2-20G Billet CHRA
✅ Custom G25 compressor housing with i30N actuator mounting provision
✅ Factory turbine housing precision profile-machined to accommodate the larger TD06 CHRA
✅ Custom assembly and machining completed in-house

We're targeting approximately 300 awkw with the right supporting modifications, fuel and ECU calibration.

What's particularly interesting about this build is that our client will be testing it back-to-back against our previously built G30-660 specification CHRA.

The aim is to compare boost response, power delivery and peak output to determine whether the TD06SL2 Billet 20G offers a better overall alternative for the Hyundai i30N platform.

Will the TD06SL2-20G outperform the G30-660 setup? We'll find out once the dyno results are in!
