Finally completed a custom keyboard that I have been designing for a while now.

I have finally completed it... The Fallingstar Sabre.
Early on in my 3D printing journey, I have envisioned having a keyboard that I can use for the rest of my life which I have designed. I have in fact only
bought the PCB, but everything around it is designed and modelled by myself.
I can now scratch this off the bucket list... Actual pics will be posted soon! Just finalising the assembly. 🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾

Just completed another tutorial by Josh Gambrell. This one is slightly more difficult than the last. This has more components, and more complex shapes involved, and more complex boolean operations. I also tried to apply some material and decal tutorials at the same time (which you can see ended up terribly due to the materials not looking natural at all, and the misplaced logo). We'll get there some day. Hope you are having a nice weekend! Catch you on the next one....

Just finished Josh Gambrell's 2026 blender tutorial for Hard Surface modelling using Hardops and BoxCutter add-ons.

I have come to a realisation that CAD software such as Autodesk Fusion is still the superior software for functional designs. Blender can get you there although it was not meant to be a precise physical dimensioning tool.

Blender fits the "concept art", animation, and sculpting requirements better than CAD software ever will due to its superior Cycles rendering engine, and vast material customisability.

Anyway, onwards we go to the next tutorial! Catch you on the next one.

I have just completed Grant Abbitt's blender tutorial on youtube!
Here is the resulting completed rendered scene! I went for the darker aesthetic. This is my second attempt at learning blender and I have never been more confident in myself after this quick start guide.
