IT'S OFFICIAL!

We're delighted to share that we took out the 'Excellence in Safety and Wellbeing Culture' category at last night's RCSA Australia Awards - an achievement we are incredibly proud of!

Congratulations to all award winners, and a huge thank you to RCSA for what was a great night (as well as all our people who contributed to this achievement!).

Who we work with says a lot about who we are.

For 75 years, Programmed has supported some of Australiaโ€™s most recognised brands, partnering with organisations that are themselves deeply rooted in Australian communities and history.

Typifying this is our longstanding relationship with Cement Australia, founded in 1890. For more than six decades, weโ€™ve provided workforce and labour hire services that support safe, reliable and productive operations.

Built on a shared commitment to safety, quality and reliability, this partnership has grown alongside the needs of the cement industry โ€“ and has allowed Cement Australia to reduce downtime, improve productivity and enhance safety.

In 2023, we celebrated with Cement Australia as they marked 100 years of operations at their Railton site in Tasmania โ€” a milestone that also reflects the people behind the partnership. Our very own Peter Flight, who began his career as a Trade Assistant at the Railton site in 1980 before leaving as our Tasmanian State Manager 33 years later in 2013, helped shape the strong working relationship that continues today. He is pictured on the right at the 100-year celebration, alongside Cement Australia Production Manager Garry Bissett.

This partnership has been a cornerstone of the success of both organisations, and we look forward to providing quality services for decades to come.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations on 20 years of dedicated service, Damien Townley ๐ŸŽ‰

Damien, who is a Heavy Auto Mechanic, has built an exceptional reputation working on forklifts, dock trucks and quay cranes, helping Patrick keep vital operations running smoothly day in, day out at Fremantle Port.

Over the past nine weeks, Programmed, in partnership with BHP, supported 17 trainees to successfully complete the Tafe 2 Warehouse Program.

The program delivered strong outcomes, with each participant obtaining their Certificate II in Supply Chain Management, High-Risk Work Licence, White Card and First Aid qualifications โ€“ and 14 candidates subsequently offered FIFO roles across WAIO and Port Warehousing Hubs.

Participants also gained valuable hands-on experience in warehousing operations, developing the practical skills required to succeed as a Storeperson at BHP. This included training at the Perth Repair Centre, exposure to SAP and Fiori systems, and insight into day-to-day stock receiving and dispatch processes.

A sincere thank you to Sonia Brooks, Rebecca Jenkinson, and the Capability team for going above and beyond to deliver this program successfully for a second time, we canโ€™t wait for intake number 3 ๐Ÿ’ช
