We’re excited to share a feature from Mining Review Africa (Issue 1, 2026) highlighting progress on the Kabanga Nickel Project in Tanzania, where DRA Global is playing a key role in advancing one of Africa’s most important critical minerals developments.

The article outlines how Lifezone Metals is progressing toward a Final Investment Decision later this year. With a robust Feasibility Study in place, Kabanga is set to produce 902 kt of nickel, 134 kt of copper and 69 kt of cobalt over an 18-year Life of Mine, strengthening global clean-energy supply chains.

DRA Operations (APAC) Pty Ltd has secured a letter of intent from Wolfram Limited for the Mount Carlton Gold Mine Surface Processing Plant and Laboratory Project, encompassing refurbishment and commissioning, operational readiness, and a 3+2 year operations and maintenance services contract.

The project is located in North Queensland, Australia, and marks an important milestone for our Operations team, representing our second major O&M engagement in Australia and highlights our growing presence in the APAC region.

Michael Carretta, DRA Global's Senior Vice President - APAC East, said:

"We are proud to bring to Wolfram our integrated, multidisciplinary in-house approach, enabling smooth delivery across every phase of the refurbishment, operational readiness, and ramp-up to steady state operations. Through our engagement with Wolfram we have developed a strong understanding of the Mount Carlton site and established a safe and effective plan to return the plant to steady-state production."
