If you’re hands-on, switched on and keen to learn, this could be your next move. We’re looking for a Despatch / Warehouse Team Member to join the crew at Hydraulic Steels Australia.
About the role 🔧
Your first few weeks will include hands-on training across our packing and warehouse operations, giving you a strong understanding of our products, systems and procedures.
From there, you’ll transition into a dedicated Despatch role, responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and correctly.
Key responsibilities
📦 Pack and prepare customer orders
✅ QA check orders and documentation for accuracy
🧑💻 Use software to book customer collections and deliveries
📲 Communicate with customers via phone and email
🏗️ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
📋 Maintain accurate despatch records and invoicing
👷 Follow strict safety and warehouse procedures
About YOU 👇
We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, switched-on and safety-focused, with good attention to detail and communication skills. You’ll need to be practical, physically capable, keen to learn and happy to get stuck in — warehouse, despatch or logistics experience is preferred, but not essential.
Current driver’s and forklift licence — highly regarded.
