Game on at the South Pine Sports Complex 🏐✨

The netball court resurfacing and drainage upgrade works are now complete, delivering a safer, sharper, and game-ready surface for every pivot, pass, and last-second goal.

A great result delivered by The Landscape Construction Company, with Morgan Consulting Engineers providing pre- and post-construction dilapidation inspections, along with the structural design of the netball post footings.

Although this job looks fun, we’re not playing around when it comes to structural design and stormwater management.

Our civil and structural departments worked alongside Place Design Group to bring this playground at Upper Coomera to life.

These lucky youngsters enjoying this playground will have a front row seat to a masterclass in small scale stormwater management, tiered retaining walls and dry swale bed design. We’re hoping projects like these inspire the next generation of engineers, as they get to see engineering in action.

Weekend at Kenilworth Camping! 🏕️

Our team swapped the office for the great outdoors this past weekend and enjoyed an incredible trip to Kenilworth Camping. It was a great chance to unwind, reconnect, and share plenty of laughs — even without a campfire (don’t worry, the marshmallows still got toasted… thanks to a trusty burner 🔥).

A huge thank you to Nathan for organising the weekend and making sure everyone was well-fed, comfortable, and looked after. Your effort made it a fantastic trip for everyone! 🙌

At the HIA 2025 Construction Outlook, the message was clear: Housing demand in Queensland isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
We’ll be watching with interest as the government reviews the approvals process to speed up land release — a key factor in meeting demand.

MCE B2B 2025!

The team got together for another great cause, Bridge to Brisbane 2025 and put on their running shoes for charity. The team had a great turn out and was good to see the group putting in some training hours before the big race. Well done to those who participated and I hope we can continue to grow this group next year.

🌟 Project Highlight: MOCO Cold Storage Facility 🌟

We are proud to showcase one of our most challenging and rewarding projects to date - the MOCO Cold Storage Facility. With over 50 years of experience in delivering structural designs for warehouses, this project certainly stands out.
Spanning 200m x 80m, the facility features multiple specialised cold rooms for freezing, meat processing, and refrigeration, along with a mezzanine, multiple offices, a suspended carpark slab and a dedicated forklift charging area. Each component presented unique challenges that influenced column placements, rafter spans and the choice of materials.
To meet these requirements, an unusual combination of portal frames and tilt-up concrete panels were implemented. The awning is also remarkably large and is supported by a 1.2m deep girder beam with a clear span of 54m to accommodate traffic clearances.
Completed in late 2024, we are proud to have worked alongside Bootooloo Property, Sparc Architect and McNab Constructions on this impressive project.
