Dirty automatic transmission oil breaks down over time and loses its ability to properly lubricate and protect internal components. Heat, clutch material and contamination all build up in the fluid, leading to excessive wear inside the transmission.

Unfortunately, we see too many vehicles come through after dealership servicing where basic maintenance items are overlooked or rushed. A stamp in the book doesn’t always mean the job was done thoroughly.

⚠️ SUSPENSION WEAR WARNING ⚠️
A good example of how worn suspension components can seriously affect ride height and handling.
These old front struts came in with the lower bushes completely flogged out, allowing the strut to sit around 15mm off centre. While that doesn’t sound like much, because of the suspension geometry and leverage through the control arm, it translated into over 20mm of front-end sag. 😳
This kind of wear can lead to:
✅ Uneven tyre wear
✅ Poor steering feel
✅ Knocking and suspension noise
✅ Reduced ride comfort
✅ Extra stress on surrounding suspension components
Small amounts of movement in suspension components can create much larger changes in ride height and wheel position once leverage through the suspension system comes into play.
If your 4WD is sagging, handling poorly or feeling unstable, it may be time for a suspension inspection. 👌
