BA Equipment Group is proud to be exhibiting at the 2026 IQA National Conference & Exhibition athe the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre in Queensland next week.

Before you cart it away, could you reuse it?

Removing excavated material from site comes with a cost. Transport, disposal, replacement material and the time involved can all add up.

REMU screening buckets offer another option: process material directly on site and turn what might otherwise be considered waste into something that can potentially be reused.

From screening excavated soil and producing topsoil to trench backfilling, site preparation and processing construction materials, it’s a practical way to get more from the material already on site.

First day on the job. Let’s make some noise.

Another Epiroc MB 1000 commissioned and straight into the good stuff.

With plenty of rocky ground to get through, there was no easing this one into its new job. Just a good opportunity to put it through its paces and make sure everything was running exactly as it should.

Commissioned, tested and ready for plenty more rockbreaking.

You’d never guess this was the same hammer.

What a transformation!

This Epiroc HB 10000 came into our workshop old, worn and well overdue for some attention. Now it’s rebuilt, refreshed and looking almost brand new.

But it’s not just about how good it looks. This beast is ready to get back out there and do what it does best: break some serious rock.

Safe to say, we’re pretty happy with this one!

Now this is an impressive application of the right attachment for the job.

Epiroc recently shared this project from the Lázaro Echeverría quarry in Spain, where an unstable rock face required a controlled approach to make the area safer without bringing operations to a halt.

Mounted on a 43-tonne excavator, an ERC 2000 drum cutter was used to precisely mill critical sections of the rock face, helping stabilise the area while minimising unnecessary material removal.

And there’s a familiar name behind the technology: Erkat.

The ERC range draws on proven Erkat drum cutter technology, known for delivering the torque, precision and control needed for demanding rock excavation applications.

Concrete and steel are no longer a challenge. That's the Epiroc CC 3100 in a nutshell.

Built for 25-40 tonne carriers, this combi-cutter cuts steel and crushes concrete in the same cycle - less time swapping attachments, more time moving forward. And with CAPS (Coupling and Positioning System), you can change the jaws on site without sending the whole unit back to the workshop.

Rock cutter vs tree stump. Why not?

The ER 650 might be built for tackling rock, concrete, trenching and profiling, but apparently nobody told it to stop there.

Here it is making short work of a tree stump. Not exactly its usual day at the office, but a pretty good demonstration of just how capable these drum cutters are.

And if you’re wondering about the yellow paint, the ER range supplied by BA is still marketed under the Erkat brand. Same proven technology, different colours.
