Got to look after the guys working hard on the race truck 🏁🚙🤠

Very delayed post 😅 but big thanks toBlue Dog 4X4 for sorting me out with some of their new merch and a fresh water pump for the little 5Ltr

I haven't spent much time on Ginger Bits since round 1 but will definitely need to get stuck into the fix ups and prep for Ultra4 Australia round 2 down at Stanthorpe.

😱 1st world dilemmas 😆

M57 Swap or sell X5 to put a turbo + intercooler kit on the 1HZ 🤔

- M57 Pros: POWER ‼️ 6 Speed Auto 👌Fuel Efficient ⛽️ Cruise Control 🛳
- M57 Cons: Conversion will mean both cars off the road + time and kit costs... 💰

- 1HZ-T Pros: Reliabile (if done properly) No need for conversion, Cheap and Easy to Turbo 🐌
- 1HZ-T Cons: Can strain the engine if not done properly, Not as good on fuel, Car remains as agricultural as a tractor 🚜

What have you been up to over the QLD Long weekend?

We decided to expand the fleet with a 1993 Toyota Landcruiser HZJ80R Manual picked up from Toowoomba.

The pros:

- It's rust free, complete and straight ‼️
- Everything works including the aircon 🥶

The cons:

- The clear coat has been smashed by the sun 🔥
- The 1HZ is healthy but jeez its slow 🐌

First up we are looking to get a roadworthy ✔️

Then decide whether to respray or wrap, what do you think 🤔
