Joanne Clark, WA artist, had Routers Australia machine all the plywood pieces for this lovely exhibit now showing in the Cottesloe Sculptures by the sea 2026. We machined cut-outs to remove weight and a square cut-out in the middle so all could be lined up on a square shaft.
Joanne has glued the pieces together, sanded them to shape and lacquered. She drilled small holes to represent the homes of little creatures and named her sculpture ‘Sanctum for the Small’.
