The rains are upon us:

Did you know ?, the rains don't affect drilling results that is the underground water potential is not affected when we drill during the rain season. According to survey reports , the water that we drill comes from rock fractures underground which are always there during and off train season. Rainfall only affects the retention or recovery of the water breaks of an already drilled borehole.

What is affected by the rain season is the drilling process that is the mobilisation to the drilling site. Due to oversaturated ground trucks may fail to access drilling points and the worst that can happen is failing to access the point by a distance of 5 meters.

The best to deal with this is to do survey before drilling since survey looks into the following things
1. Accessibility of the point
2. Underground water potential by analysing the underground rock formation and the breaks
3. Materials to be used during drilling.

It's very possible to do a survey during the rainy season since the survey methods look into the underground rock formation . Pqwt machines detect upto 300m going down depending on the type of the machine tc150 or tc300 analysing rock formation.
