80 years in a nutshell.

We have done amazing things these past 80 years, and we wanted to share a few:

📌Jack originally worked as a paint consultant for a major paint manufacturer, and through his training and years of experience he decided to open his own store. Jack’s Paint and Hardware was born.
📌At the age of 21, Martin took the reigns of Jack’s Paint.
📌In 1987, Martin decided to partner up with Gerhard Waldauer.
📌In 1994, we open our first franchise store in Blackheath
📌In 1994, Panache Paint was established.
📌We open our first Jack’s Paint, build and trade in Bryanston.

How to keep your grass green during winter? Let’s chat with Jack’s. 💚

The secret to having a well-kept green lawn in winter is to start preparing it in autumn.🍁

All leaves and other debris on the grass must conscientiously be raked up and put in the compost bin during autumn. The lawn will not receive proper moisture, nutrients, sunlight and air if the leaves are left on the grass. While most lawns do not grow at all during winter, they can still die if buried under any kind of debris.

Weeds grow much faster in the winter than the grass, as the lawns are lying dormant during this time. If weeds aren’t controlled and permitted to grow wild over the winter, there may be very little grass left when summer comes along. 🌞
