Exciting developments at our Woodlands Estate site this week! 🚧

Our platforms are progressing smoothly, thanks to the implementation of RockGrid®—a top-tier, high-strength composite geotextile. RockGrid® combines the reinforcement benefits of geogrids and wovens with the favorable hydraulic properties of nonwovens. The 50/50 variant is proving ideal for our reinforcement applications.

The construction teams are diligently mapping out house designs, gearing up to build stunning homes. Plus, the installation of stormwater and sewage infrastructure is in full swing!

We often overlook the simple things that deserve the most gratitude!

Sihle Phakathi, a low-cost housing project in the Groutville area of KwaDukuza, KZN. Our team has been entrusted with building gravel roads and installing water pipelines, a stormwater system, and sanitation infrastructure for the community.
We celebrate this image as it captures a milestone moment - the first flow of water into the new pipeline system we're installing. Access to clean, potable water and proper sanitation is more than just a necessity; it's a blessing that empowers communities. We're incredibly honored to contribute to this transformative project!

Roadworks update: P228

Spotted on the field! Our Wirtgen WR250 Recycler and grader on the P228 for our C3 road stabilization.

The benefits of using C3 to stabilize our road:
Reduced Plasticity: The soil's plasticity is reduced, and it becomes less vulnerable to changes in volume and shape due to moisture variations.
Enhanced Strength: It strengthens the road base and improves the load-bearing capacity of the road.
Prevention of Cracking: Correct stabilization balances the tensile strength so that the stabilized layers don't crack excessively.
Less degradation: The stabilized road will be durable for a longer time. Roads that require less frequent repairs and maintenance have a lower environmental impact!
Cost Efficiency: C3 is one of the most cost-effective materials for optimal road stabilization.

Project Update! Woodlands Estate

Two months in and we are making tracks at the Woodlands site!

This week:

• We have cut our platforms and they are ready on Phase 1 and Phase 3

• Bulk earthworks are moving along steadily as the road prisms take shape

• Our team is ready to hit the GO button on our Stormwater pipeline installation

We are keeping our eye on the finish line - Go Team!

Project update!
