Excitement is hanging in the air at Arctig Manufacturing as we offload our long-awaited fiber laser, imported all the way from China.

Johan and David were like little boys on Christmas morning, watching every moment as this incredible investment was carefully moved into place. After much anticipation, seeing the machine finally arrive is a very special milestone for the Arctig team.

This new addition will help us take our work to the next level — improving accuracy, increasing speed, and opening the door to even greater possibilities in our manufacturing process.

Here are a few photos from the day’s progress. Keep an eye out for the final results, which we’ll be sharing soon.

We cannot wait for the machine to be assembled, connected, and ready to start working.

Progress Update from Tzaneen 📍Fobeni Shopping Center

We’re proud to be part of the work happening at Fobeni Shopping Centre in Tzaneen.

Arctig Manufacturers has been appointed as subcontractors by Silver Charm Construction, taking care of all the structural steelwork, from manufacturing right through to er****on on site.

The job is making great progress, and it’s always a good feeling seeing everything come together.

A big shoutout to our hardworking team for the effort and quality work going into this project. We’re proud of what’s being built here.

Special mention to our workshop facilitator, Ruan Vd Mark, who is managing the manufacturing side. Thank you for putting in the extra hours to make sure everything is completed and loaded on time. We’re really glad to have you as part of the team.

Job Title: Workshop Facilitator & Manager

📍 Arctig Manufacturers

Arctig Manufacturers is seeking a **strong, hands-on Workshop Facilitator & Manager** to lead and manage our workshop operations.

This is a senior position suited to a disciplined, results-driven individual with solid leadership ability and experience in a production/workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing daily production and ensuring targets are met
* Managing and improving quality standards
* Ensuring housekeeping standards are consistently maintained
* Enforcing Health & Safety compliance at all times
* Implementing and maintaining ISO-related systems and procedures
* Submitting daily production progress reports
* Providing morning planning reports for the day’s workflow
* Liaising effectively between the office and workshop
* Driving productivity, accountability, and team performance

Minimum Requirements:

* Proven leadership and workshop management experience
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Ability to enforce discipline and maintain standards
* Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
* Strong administrative and reporting skills
* Knowledge of ISO systems and quality control processes
* Minimum of 4 contactable references

The salary package will be discussed during the interview process.
