A Toyota Hilux 3.0L D-4D came in very underpowered. We did a complete diagnostic/fault-finding and sorted out some problems on the vehicle. With the vehicle already on the dyno, we decided to do an ECU performance software tune. The results in power gain are huge.

A very clean Toyota Corolla with a 4age turbo new build motor is in for a low boost run-in tune. Updates will follow, including a new custom-built turbocharger and more boost. It's always nice to work on a project built and owned by Robert Hurn.

We did some tuning on a Ford Ranger 3.2. A mild tune was done, and the EGR was locked in the closed position via software. A custom boost pipe was fitted on the cold side of the intake. This is a reliable daily drive performance upgrade with a good balance between fuel economy and power.

Toyota LandCruiser came in for a health check. The vehicle had lots of black smoke, indicating overfueling. We did some data logs on the dyno and loaded a custom ECU file. The end result was less smoke and a smoother power curve, with some added power as a bonus.

Toyota Hilux 2.5 d-4d on the dyno. The vehicle came in already tuned, making good power, but with lots of diesel smoke. We loaded a new tune file and, as a bonus, made a few Nm more, but with much less smoke.

This Nissan Navara 2.5 came in very underpowered. We tested the vehicle on the dyno and did a health check. Some faults were identified. We replaced the faulty parts and tested again to see that the vehicle performed to spec.

The GWM P-Series came in very underpowered. We gave it a run on the dyno and it made 69kW and 185Nm calculated to the engine. We then identified some problems and proceeded to rectify them. We then did a dyno run to verify that the vehicle is on factory spec of 120kW / 400Nm. After confirming that the vehicle is in good health and on spec, we proceeded to fit a custom bolt-on downpipe and did a mild ECU tune file to give it a bit more power. We ended with 143kW / 513Nm.
