WELL known in the agricultural sector, John Deere has announced its intension to compete in the construction sector in eighteen countries across southern and western Africa, where Deere-branded construction products were not previously available.

This expansion, which will include the availability of backhoe loaders, excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders, and crawler dozers, will be sold and supported by independent, newly appointed John Deere dealers. Targeted countries include South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, Angola, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Egypt, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, and Sudan.

“This expansion provides an opportunity for us to increase our global footprint in the construction industry, as we build upon our existing presence in Africa and deliver our product portfolio under the John Deere brand for the first time to these key markets,” said Jaco Beyers, managing director for John Deere Africa Middle East.

In Africa, John Deere is well represented in the agricultural market, as well as an increasingly prominent player in the construction and forestry industries in many parts of the continent. This expansion marks the first time that the John Deere construction products are sold under the John Deere name in these key markets. In this new era, John Deere is taking full control of the marketing and support of its own branded construction products.

Customers in these markets will also have access to product support through the world-renowned John Deere dealer network. Each piece of John Deere construction equipment will be supported and serviced by highly trained and certified equipment technicians who are in turn supported by a network of regional parts distribution centres, including one in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

Customers will also have access to the John Deere suite of technology solutions, including JDLink™ Telematics, which provides valuable fleet insights on the job site.

*TIPS ON HOW TO REMAIN POOR*

*1. _Never wake up early._* Keep stretching and turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing. If there are no bed bugs, why hurry to get up?

*2. _Never plan how to spend your money._* Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and recall how you spent it.

*3. _Don't think of saving until you have real big money._* How can you save when you earn so little? Those telling you to save are not sympathetic to your burning needs.

*4. _Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the "uneducated"._* How can you, a graduate, engage in petty trade, network marketing or home-based production? That's for people who never went to school!

*5. _Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven and gives you capital._* How do they expect you to invest before you get millions? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with little capital, you as a smart person can only start with millions.

*6. _Complain about everything except your own attitude and laziness._* Blame the system, the government and the banks that refused to lend you money. They are all bad and do not want you to get rich.

*7. _Spend more than you earn._* To achieve this, buy consumer products on credit and keep borrowing from friends and employers.

Due to high levels of people frequenting in and of the Correctional and Justice systems the Executives and Founding members of The Information Inception Institute Honourable Dlamini, Mashinini-Mbatha and I have came to a conclusion through the MBALO Foundation to setup systems that would address this Generational and Recurrent situation.

At some point IYO Founders and Members were to take action and resolved the Ipopeng Bakubung Ba-Ratheo Traditional Community state of emergency, where at the time Ganster Crimes where addressed by a forum called Ipopeng Young Organisations where Youth and Young Professional of Ledig Community came together and proposed programmes and projects to Bakubung Economic Development Unit and All its Bojanala Platinum District and Bokone Bophirima Stakeholders.

To name but a few.

1. K-Gumbi Events Management's : Soccer Tournament in honour of Mr George "Le'dumbling" Sedumedi.

2. Information Inception Institute formed after many organisations and young professionals found a united voice through Annual December 16 Information Inception Sessions that are traditionally held at Queen Catherine Tsietso Centre since 2009.

From our annual and continuous Engagements and Improvements I3 was then lauched in 2011 as a Platform that was established with the unity and Socio-Economic Adversities that were and still are greatest chalenges with a distant nature of relationships between Ipopeng Bakubung Ba-Ratheo Youth and Young Professionals who with their Spirit Given Capabilities and Employment can Put up resources fund to support any great innovatives that would see the African Indigenous Knowledge Systems in ICMMT (Information Communications Marketing Media and Technology)

It is in this regard that THATO-E-MBALO Group and MBALO Foundation commits to investing in Socio-Economic Sustainability Concepts by any young and deserving persons and/organisations in and across Bokone Bophirima, preferably Bojanala Platinum District as a launching pad point of this great initiatives.
