This past weekend, our Surgery Specialist, Dr Sara Boyd, and her Surgical Resident, Dr Sadiyya Dhan, attended an international hands-on course (Humeral Condyle Course) organised by Motsumi Surgical. The day was spent learning from RCVS board-certified surgeon Ben Walton, with in-depth discussion on the benefits of the Fusion Implants Humeral Condyle Fracture Repair System.

The Humeral Condyle Course on 17 January 2026 will be an interactive online dry-lab presented by Ben Walton (RCVS Specialist in Orthopaedics) and the Fusion Implants team in collaboration with Motsumi Surgical. This high-impact workshop will deliver world-class orthopaedic training directly to each participant’s home or practice, with all materials (saw, bones, implants) shipped to them and collected afterward. Limited to just 10 veterinarians, the course will provide expert guidance, hands-on dry-lab practice, and confidence-building in repairing humeral condylar fractures using Fusion’s LEAP system.

Here we have Dr Sara Boyd, a Specialist Surgeon from Hilton Vet Hospital Specialist Referral Centre, who received her course pack ahead of Saturday’s workshop.
