Truck wouldn’t release park brake…
No movement. No work getting done.

Problem?
Communication wires to the APM (air dryer) were off, so the truck couldn’t read the system. No signal = no release.

Wiring repaired. Communication restored.
Truck back on the road where it belongs. 🦾

Truck only taking uneven gears.
That’s where it started.

We went in, stripped it down, and found the real problem:
A broken split shaft and oil flooding the selector unit from leaking seals.

Not a quick fix. Not a guess.

We replaced the split shaft, fitted a recon selector unit, and sealed it properly.

Back together. Tested.
All 12 gears working the way they should.

From partial drive…
to full performance again.

This plug should carry electrical signals… Not engine oil. 🫠

Oil travelled through the injector wiring and filled the engine harness - all the way to the ECU plug.

That means one thing:
Engine harness replacement to stop the oil contamination.

Sometimes faults don’t stay where they start.

Brake lights not working?

You can check bulbs.
You can check fuses.
You can check switches.
Or… you can check if the wires are still attached. 😅

These brake pressure sensor wires were off, which meant no brake lights on the truck.

Connected it again. Problem solved.

No exhaust brake. No valve brake.
The cause? A faulty VCB (Valve Brake Solenoid).

This solenoid controls the valve braking inside the engine. When it shorted out, both the exhaust brake valve and valve brake stopped working.

Replaced the VCB.
System restored.
Braking power back.
