Henry Taylor Stock has arrived!!

Creative Turning SA stocks a wide range of Henry Taylor turning tools of both the Diamic and Hamlet brands. Henry Taylor has been established in 1834 in Sheffield in the UK. They are well known for manufacturing high quality woodworking and woodturning tools.

They have also worked with many well known woodturners to create signature tools, Jason Breach, Ray Key, Richard Raffan, Escoulen, Ian Wilkie, Stuart Mortimer, Alan Lacer and Glen Lucas.
The original Superflute, Diamic bowl gouge which was designed in 1978 by Roy Child remains my personal favourite for using in my workshop.

The range consists of M2 High Speed Steel gouges, Kryo treated gouges for longer edge retention and the ultimate M42 ‘Stay Sharp’ gouges which holds its edge for a very long time.

We are expanding our range of Nova chucks with direct threaded chucks (1"x8, 1.1/4"x8 and M33x3.5) These chucks do not require and insert which makes it more cost effective. We are also adding a range of 'Companion" chucks which come without jaws (also in direct threaded) which makes them even more cost effective.

The range of Nova jaws are also expanded

The big news is however that we will now also stock the NOVA VIKING 16″ DVR BENCHTOP AND FLOOR STANDING DRILL PRESSES.

Creative Turning Pro Series Turning Tools

We have expanded our range of Creative Turning Pro Series Turning Tools.

The Creative Turning Pro Series Turning Tools are made from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) which has been Cryogenically treated. This treatment changes the structure of the steel which gives it additional wear resistance and better edge holding capability. It holds the edge 2 to 3 times longer than standard M2 HSS.

The handles are from European hardwood which with a stainless steel ferrule securing the tool in the handle.
