As of the end of February 2020, we have successfully completed a shareholding restructure resulting in :
- Direct Black Shareholding of 25.2%
- Black Female ownership of 20.4%
The current composition of our Board of Directors, includes 33% of the Executive Management under Black Female control. The new ownership structure and management control structure should enable us to achieve a Level 5 BBBEE Scorecard.

• Universal operates in the Eastern Cape Province & Southern Cape (up to Mossel Bay) territories.

• Branch in East London at 8 Sheffield Road.
• Branch in Kimberley at 14 Hendrik van der Bijl, Kimdustria.

• Universal employs 62 people, including 15 qualified technicians, 5 apprentices, 12 technical assistants, 6 sales people, 6 parts sales people, 11 administrative staff and 4 Directors.
• East London employs 9 people, whilst Port Elizabeth employs the other 44 people & Durban employs 9
• Kimberley employs 6 people
