Siyongwana street in Zwide, this is bad and it is unfortunate that when the residents are told a problem is coming from a certain house in the same street, the owner of the house refuses to open so that the Officials can do their work….

Water Disruption- Emerald Hill - 14 October 2025

Unfortunately the Elandsjagt water treatment works suffered a power outage for 12 hours and a few intermittent power outages thereafter. This caused the water system to be strained. Power was back and stable from midday today onwards.

Emerald hill reservoir has been negatively affected by this and is currently empty. Areas affected are as follows:
