🔧 COMPLEX MACHINE. A TEAM UP TO THE CHALLENGE! 💪🌲

This imported JENZ chipper received a full refurbishment from our SH Manufacturing team and has now been delivered to Tsitsikamma!

Our work included overhauling its mechanical and hydraulic systems — a demanding job on a beautiful, highly complex machine that required skill, patience and attention to detail. ⚙️

Chipper refurbishment is another of our specialities, and we take pride in giving hardworking equipment a new lease on life.

🔧 SMALL SHREDDER. SERIOUS UPGRADES! 💪🔥

A closer look at the client’s shredder we recently refurbished — with plenty of engineering packed into this machine!

⚙️ New blade design
⚙️ Bigger, stronger gearboxes and motors
⚙️ A full control panel with variable speed drives (VSDs)
⚙️ An automatic reverse feature following an overload to help clear jams

From the cutting blades to the drive system and controls, this refurbishment brought mechanical and electrical upgrades together.

😳 WE MAY HAVE MADE IT A LITTLE TOO STRONG! 💪⚙️

First test run of this small shredder after its refurbishment by SH Manufacturing — and it certainly made an impression! 🔥

The run went really well, but it showed us that the machine needed additional reinforcement to handle its upgraded drive.

That’s why we test: to see how everything performs together and make the necessary refinements before delivery. 🔧

🚛 TRAILER NUMBER THREE — REFURBISHED AND UPGRADED! 🔧

Here’s a closer look at another full trailer refurbishment by our SH Manufacturing team. A serious amount of work went into this one! 💪

⚙️ Walking floor chains refurbished
⚙️ New sprockets and drive shafts
⚙️ Universal joint and prop shaft repairs
⚙️ Drive system modifications
⚙️ Special tensioners added to the system
⚙️ Hydraulic system overhaul
🎨 Thorough cleaning and a fresh paint job

We also added a hydraulic safety valve as a protective failsafe to help safeguard the specialised gearbox against overload damage.

A refurbishment like this brings together mechanical repairs, hydraulics, fabrication and practical engineering improvements — and our team can be proud of the result! 👏🔥

🏗️ BIG SHREDDER. BIG JOB. SOLID TEAMWORK! 🔧

Our SH Manufacturing team recently tackled a major shredder replacement, using a crane truck to lift out the old unit and install an identical replacement. 💪

With the changeover completed, the removed shredder is now receiving a full refurbishment in our workshop.

⚙️ The work includes rebuilding worn blades through weld build-up, followed by grinding and sharpening, along with bearing, seal and retainer repairs and replacement where required, before final reassembly.

From the heavy lifting on site to the detailed rebuilding in the workshop, every stage takes skill, care and teamwork.

Proud of our team and the effort going into bringing this machine back to life! 🔥

🚜 ANOTHER SPREADER, ANOTHER TEAM, ANOTHER PROUD RESULT! 🔧

Another recently refurbished manure spreader put through its paces during commissioning and testing — and another very satisfied client! 💪

This project was handled by an entirely different SH Manufacturing team from the spreader we shared previously, and they’ve delivered a result we’re equally proud of.

🔧 FROM RUNDOWN TO FIELD-READY! 🚜

This old manure spreader (“misstrooier”) arrived in need of serious attention. After a solid effort from our SH Manufacturing team, it’s looking almost new and back doing what it was built to do! 💪

🎥 Here it is during commissioning and testing out in the fields of Tsitsikamma — working well and showing the results of our team’s hard work.

Our pride in a project extends beyond the workshop doors. From refurbishment to in-field testing, commissioning and after-sales support, we’re there to help our clients get their equipment back to work.

From worn and weathered to a refurbishment we’re proud to put our name on — this shredder has received some serious attention from the SH Manufacturing team! 💪

With new gearboxes, a bright orange safety guard and extensive refurbishment work, the before-and-after photos speak for themselves.

We’re extremely proud of the workmanship and effort our team has put into this project, and our client is already impressed with the transformation.

⚙️ Commissioning is now underway, with delivery and installation coming soon!

🔩 **YSTER OF THE WEEK — WISEMAN MAKONO** 🔩

This week’s very well-deserved **Yster of the Week** award goes to Mr Wiseman Makono—a true champion who gave more than his all throughout the past week! 💪🔥

With the support of his team, Wiseman successfully completed multiple complex projects. His leadership, dedication and outstanding workmanship truly stood out.

Wiseman, we are extremely proud and honoured to have you as part of the SH Manufacturing team. Thank you for leading by example and always pushing for excellence. This award is thoroughly deserved! 👏

😂 **COME ALONG OF THE WEEK — THEMBALETHU KOLOSE** 😂

Last week’s winner, Mr Fergus, handed over the legendary bronze trophy to Themba with absolute determination—and possibly a little relief! 🏆🤣

Themba earned this prestigious recognition for two truly remarkable talents:

⌚ First, he owns a very unique wristwatch with what appears to be a Morse-code dial—a mysterious timekeeping system that apparently only he can understand!

🛞 Second, he somehow managed to get a puncture on his **spare wheel while it was still inside the boot!**

Now that takes a level of skill we simply cannot ignore. Themba, those are special abilities—and they deserve proper recognition! 😂👏

Well done to both gentlemen! One award celebrates exceptional leadership and workmanship, while the other celebrates the unique talents that keep our workshop laughing.
