Pam and Martin had the privilege of attending the RMA Prevention Awards 2026 in Sandton, an event that celebrates companies leading the way in safety across industry.

Looking sharp and absolutely dashing, they represented MC Design & Contracting with style and confidence.

It was an electrifying evening filled with energy and inspiration. The passion for safety was evident throughout the night, with a strong focus on recognising excellence and raising industry standards.

The experience was made even more memorable by an incredible performance from Kurt Darren, who brought great energy and entertainment to the event.

Well done to all the finalists and winners who continue to set the benchmark for safety in our industry.

Slipper Day 2026 in support of The Reach For A Dream Foundation brought great spirit across the office and MC Design was proud to be part of it. 👣

This meaningful initiative helps bring hope and joy to children living with life threatening illnesses by turning their dreams into reality.

Well done to all our colleagues who showed their support and got involved, with some truly creative and interesting slipper wear on display. 😄

May Safety Focus:

🔥 Hot Work = High Risk

Welding, grinding, cutting when done wrong, can cause fires, burns and explosions.

Whether in the workshop or on site we always ensure the following:
✅ Always have a permit to work in place
✅ Wear the correct PPE at all times
✅ Have an appointed Fire Marshall always on standby
✅ Ensure the area is well ventilated and protected with screens
✅ Inspect equipment before use — no defects allowed
✅ Store gas cylinders upright and safely
✅ Set up clear exclusion zones

We are proud to announce the appointment of Dean Munsamy as Project Manager at MC Design!

Dean has been a valued part of our Durban operations team for the past 11 and a half years, serving as a senior supervisor with dedication and a strong commitment to excellence.

His leadership, work ethic and deep understanding of our operations have made him a natural fit for this next step.

In his new role, Dean will oversee projects across the KZN region, where we are confident he will continue building strong relationships with both our customers and teams.
