There is a big difference between talking about precast and seeing how it is actually made.

Alongside SAICE Limpopo, we recently welcomed engineers to the Coreslab factory for a CPD-accredited technical session focused on the future of precast concrete construction.
We took the conversation onto the factory floor.

Delegates could see the manufacturing process first-hand, understand the controls behind production and quality, and connect the engineering and design decisions made at the start of a project with what eventually gets manufactured, transported and installed on site.

More importantly, it created the opportunity for proper technical discussion. We shared experience from real projects, looked at where precast can improve programme, quality, safety and long-term performance, and spoke openly about the practical considerations engineers need to understand when specifying and designing with precast.

As Patricia Leshilo, Chairperson of the SAICE Limpopo Branch, highlighted in her opening address, building infrastructure that lasts depends on continually strengthening the technical capability behind it.
That is exactly what days like this should do.

Some of the best business conversations don't happen around a boardroom table.

Corestruc and Coreslab participated in the Pietersburg Club Annual Golf Day in Polokwane, supporting an event that brings the local business community together while raising funds for a good cause.

Limpopo is an important part of our story. We work here, build here and have relationships across the engineering, construction and business communities that have developed over many years.
