32.5R? 42.5R? 52.5N? Here's what the numbers mean. π€
Many builders see these codes on a cement bag and just pick the cheapest. But using the wrong strength class can cost you far more in the long run.
π Here's a quick breakdown:
32.5R β General purpose. Great for plaster, mortar, and everyday concrete. Economical and versatile.
42.5R β Early strength. Sets faster. Ideal when you need to strip formwork quickly or stay on a tight schedule.
52.5N β High performance. For precast, ready-mix, and civil engineering applications where maximum strength is non-negotiable.
