The Pro-Elect business was established in 1998 by Chris Rawlins. The business grew very rapidly and within 8 months the team had grown to 4 staff. Due to such rapid growth, we moved premises and expanded our operation across Kwa-Zulu Natal. By 2005 we were established in Richardsbay, Estcourt, Ladysmith and Harrismith and boasted a team of 42 staff including 12 on the road breakdown electricians.

Around 2012 one of our earliest stalwarts decided to take over the Richardsbay operation in his own capacity and within the next year we decided to consolidate our operation exclusively to the Pinetown branch where we are today in 45 Union Lane Pinetown. When we moved to our current location in Pinetown we also made one of our boldest and most rewarding decisions ever, we decided to join the Motolek company franchise and we have proudly grown from strength to strength ever since. 5 years later, here we are and the future looks brighter than ever, we have growth and expansion on the horizon with our sights set on opening our first sister branch up in the upper highway area moving more towards the Hillcrest vicinity.
