In 1998 the company was purchased by Argent Industrial Limited, a JSE listed company. This enabled us to expand the services that were on offer by us, increase our staff compliment and purchase more advanced machinery. We are situated in Westmead in Pinetown, just a few kilometers outside the Durban CBD and broadly speaking, we are a steel service centre. We specialize in profiling of plate up to
300mm thick, plasma cutting of stainless steel and aluminium up to 50mm, rolling of plate up to 25mm over a 3 metre width, plough grinding up to 2 metres by 750mm, cutting to size of sections, rolling of sections, guillotining up to 16mm thick and general fabrication and welding work. We also have a 400 ton press brake facility. Our most recent acquisition is a new state of the art plasma cutter. We pride ourselves on short turnaround times, with no job being too big or too small or too urgent. Our customers range from the man-in-the-street to the sugar, petrochemical, mining, civil engineering and specialized engineering industries.
