Asaly is a Professional Auto Body Parts Centre and Windscreen Fitment centre. We have been fitting windscreens for over 30 years and we are apart of Local business in Pietermaritzburg.
All our windscreen fitters are professionally trained and are certified to fit windscreens. Both our windscreens and sealers are OE quality such as Sikaflex Sealers and Sikaflex activators which are approved by all major Insurance companies with Manufacturer backed support.
There are always two parts to any story and we would like to share the version and nature of events as it occurred today at our Berg Street branch due to social media deformity.
The client had approached our fitters and explained his problem. He was then directed to the Director of Asaly. When Ash, the Director had asked him when his windscreen had been-fitted, he mentioned a year or two ago. Firstly our windscreens and fitment have a 3 month warranty, but our disclaimer states, any vehicle with rust or have been repaired from rust is not guaranteed.
Ash then asked him to produce a receipt which he could not. At no time were we rude to the client. When looking at his vehicle, it clearly showed rust around the windscreen.
If the client could put a picture of his vehicle, we would all see the real issue being the rust. With 30 years of experience in windscreen fitment, Asaly operates with specific policies and procedures including receipts and disclaimers which the client has to sign. No vehicle leaves our fitment centre without a signed receipt.
Asaly cannot guarantee the workmanship of any Panel Be**er. That query must be dealt directly with the Panel Be**er and the client.
No company can guarantee Rust or even a years warranty on fitment.
