With our landfill site almost at full capacity and currently deemed un-safe, we at Asiph-ephe have the solution. We have developed a fully sus-tainable Recycling Centre right here in Pietermaritz-burg. We are a developing company established in 2014 and have already made a sig-nificant impact with our “Clean Up Our City” projects in the various wards within the Msunduzi area. Glass recycling is ou
r major focus, driven by the fact that glass is not biodegradable and the negative impact that this has on landfill sites. Azurri Engineering was contracted to design and build the necessary recycling machinery and will continue to supply additional machinery as the de-mand grows. Numerous municipal counsellors are vocal in their support of our recycling endeavours, resulting in the municipality as a whole giving our “Clean Up Our City” project its stamp of approval. One of the core focus areas is our outreach program, aimed at uplifting poverty stricken communities. In addition, we focus on households, schools, bars, restaurants and shop-ping malls. Taking on this task will not be an easy one, but we are working together with households, schools, bars, restaurants and shopping malls, as well as a community outreach program which the focus will be to uplift poverty stricken com-munities and help build them up.
