At first glance, it’s another tub filler taking shape on our factory floor.

But there’s always a bigger story behind the stainless steel.

Somewhere, there’s a food or dairy manufacturer looking to produce more efficiently who do not want to spend ours stripping and cleaning and who does not want exorbitant maintenance costs.
A production team dealing with a bottleneck.
A business preparing for growth.
Or an existing process that simply needs to work better.

For many years, tub-filling projects have become a familiar sight around our factory, with strong demand from food and dairy manufacturers keeping our teams busy.

They may all fall under the same category, but each one has been built around a different reality.

Different products. Different containers. Different outputs. Different production environments.

And eventually, different destinations.✈️

A big thank you to the two Red Bull Student Marketers who popped into our factory a little while back and gave the whole team a much-needed boost.

Totally unexpected, perfectly timed and honestly, it made our day.

Thanks for the energy, the smiles and for keeping our crew fueled and ready to take on whatever came next.

The goal was never simply to fill another bottle of chutney.

The goal was to help a manufacturer run their production with confidence.

Confidence that every bottle is filled consistently.

Confidence that operators can rely on the equipment throughout the day.

Confidence that support is never far away when it's needed.

Over the years, this customer has continued to trust Filmatic across multiple packaging lines, each one helping their production evolve as their business has grown.

To us, that's the real measure of a successful installation.

Not the day it's commissioned.

But the years of reliable production that follow.

What an incredible experience it was to once again partner with Stellenbosch University Engineering Winterweek 2026!

Opening our doors to the next generation of engineers is one of the more rewarding things we get to do.

Prospective engineering students from across South Africa joined us at Filmatic to experience first-hand how design, manufacturing and automation come together on the floor and to picture where a career in this industry could take them.

A heartfelt thank you to Stellenbosch University for connecting young talent with industry and helping shape the next generation of engineers. 🤝

To the students, keep going. The future of engineering is in good hands, and we know that you will make a huge success of it.

Making the whole packaging process look so simple.

That's usually a sign that years of experience sit behind the system and partner

A bottling line must do far more than just accurately fill a container.

Simplicity is key. It needs to be easy for operators to run.

Straightforward to maintain.

Reliable enough that production can focus on making product instead of solving machine problems.

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to build tub filling systems for manufacturers producing yoghurt, margarine and many other food and dairy products.

Each installation strengthening the next.

And with several tub filling lines currently under construction, that journey continues.

This margarine tub filling system was recently installed and commissioned at a client's Cape Town facility, following the successful implementation of an identical line at another one of their manufacturing sites.

Designed to handle 500g and 1kg products across round, oval and rectangular tubs, the system provides the flexibility needed to support multiple product formats on a single platform.

Before shipment, the complete line underwent Factory Acceptance Testing at our facility. While no product was filled during this stage, the system was thoroughly tested to verify machine operation, container handling, system integration and overall line performance before delivery.
