Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Conventional Milling Operator with Fitter & Turner capabilities to join our engineering team. We are looking for an individual that will work well with a team but will also be able to work independently without constant supervision.
Requirements (Conventional Milling Operator):
Operate manual and computer-controlled machinery, such as lathes, milling machines, to manufacture components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of the finished product.
Interpret technical drawings to determine appropriate machining processes and sequences.
Perform precision machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, boring, and threading, to fabricate components specific tolerances.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.
Requirements (Fitter & Turner):
Proven experience as a Fitter & Turner or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines.
Be able to read and understand CAD/ 3D model drawings.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.
