People always ask me: “Why be a charter captain/owner? The early mornings, the weather, the work?”

Simple. *It’s for that moment.*

The moment that rod bends. The moment a client who’s never fished before is screaming “I’ve got one!” The moment a dad and his kids are high-fiving on my deck with a Kob in the hatch and salt in their hair.

I’m the owner and captain of *Salt Life Fishing Charters* because I get to give people that story. Out on the water, no emails, no traffic — just ocean, mates, and fish.

I built this boat, this business, so that every person who steps on board feels like they’re part of the crew for the day. Safe, looked after, and with the best shot at a fish we can give them.

This isn’t just a job to me. It’s my office. It’s my passion. And it’s why I get up at 4am with a smile.

Don’t just take it from me though — here’s what some of our crew have said:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *"Best fishing experience of my life! The captain knew exactly where to go and made sure even the beginners caught fish. 10/10 would go again."*
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *"Professional, friendly, and the boat was spotless. Felt safe the whole time and we came home with an icebox full. Salt Life does it right!"*
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *"Took my son for his birthday and he caught his first fish ever. The captain made it so special for him. This is what memories are made of."*

If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the water, come join us. You bring the excitement — I’ll bring the boat, the bait, and the fish.

Let's do this Salt Life family. Our daughter needs your prayers and positive thoughts right now. We believe that she will get to zero leukaemia cells! 0️⃣

Today is Alba's final day of chemotherapy.

We're asking everyone, wherever you are in the world, to focus on one number today:

𝐙𝐄𝐑𝐎

Zero leukaemia cells.

Whether you pray, send positive thoughts, meditate, or simply believe in the power of hope, please take a moment to picture that number. That's what we're holding onto with everything we have.

Thank you for everything 🧡💛

Some awesome catches this last Friday with a great group of gents from Scotland, America, Italy and South Africa all managing to bag themselves a beautiful fish or two for the dinner table. It was all systems go from the first drop! Needless to say we had smiles all round and non stop banter over some cold beers after the trip.

"Yo, Salt Life fam! 🌊 As the seasons shift and the fishing gets tougher, our crew's gotta stay on their game! 😎 But we're not complaining – we're still catchin' fish, and next trip's gonna be a big one! 🐟 We're headed out on Friday, and we're ready to grind. Who's with us? Book your spot now and let's ride the tide!

What's happening below the surface when those bonnies are biting (or not, as might be the case!). They're so fast, we had to slow these clips right down. Superb day of fishing yesterday, with a few bonnies in the hatch alongside some kob and Miss Lucy 🐟🎣

Yo, check this out! 🎣 Yesterday’s salt life fishing charter adventure was a mixed bag – the fishing was slow, man, but the crew didn’t give up. They hustled and pulled through, landing some solid catches. Even when the bite’s lazy, the crew’s grind and passion make the trip worth it. Big shoutout to the Salt Life crew for turning a sluggish day into a memorable haul! 🙌
