Rosond is a leading exploration drilling company with a strong track record of delivering safe, reliable and innovative drilling solutions across the mining and exploration sector.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Drill Rig Mechanic to join our team in Thabazimbi.

Do you have:

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and pneumatics?
The ability to identify and solve complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals?
Experience working with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment?
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes and equipment reliability?
A strong understanding of safety protocols within hazardous working environments?
The ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including confined spaces and at heights?
Strong troubleshooting, communication and technical documentation skills?
First Aid & Fire Fighting certification and A1.2 ORMP?

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant Trade Test (Red Seal)
Supervisor Training / Certificate
Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in an exploration drilling environment
5 years’ exploration drilling experience
Valid driver’s licence
No criminal record
Medically fit
