"Effective August 1, 2026, Lars Hartmann will assume responsibility for the development of the African region in his role as Business Development Professional, Authorized Distributors Team EMEA. Lars will work closely with our existing distributors across Africa while also identifying and evaluating additional routes to market and growth opportunities for the Leybold brand.

This adjustment reflects a shift in priorities within Lars’ current position and is fully aligned with the responsibilities of the Business Development Professional role.

Lars will continue to support all Authorized Distributors across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on the ongoing digitalization of our distributor business, including the implementation and optimization of digital platforms, tools, and processes that enhance collaboration and business efficiency across our partner network. These responsibilities remain a core part of his current role.

By dedicating additional focus to Africa, we aim to strengthen our support for the region and accelerate the identification of new business opportunities while maintaining our commitment to digital transformation initiatives across the broader Authorized Distributors organization.

Lars will continue to collaborate closely with the Authorized Distributors team, Business Line Managers, and our distributor network to drive sustainable growth and further expand Leybold’s market presence across the entire Authorized Distributors region."
