You are under pressure to deliver valve assemblies that are compliant, documented, interoperable, and cost-effective. Compressed air strategy plays a larger role in that outcome than many teams expect.

If one component requires a stricter ISO air quality class, the entire assembly may need to be upgraded to meet that class. If a positioner reduces steady-state air bleed, energy costs may fall, but air quality requirements can still increase preparation and maintenance effort.

That is why the best specification is not the strictest one. It is the one that fits the real operating profile, site conditions, and lifecycle cost target.

The Festo white paper gives you and your engineering teams a practical framework for evaluating trade-offs among air quality, air consumption, and system cost before design decisions become expensive to change.
