Introduction
We are looking for a Driver to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide driving/messenger servicesMaintain accurate and up to date schedule trip sheets; i.e. log official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumptionPerform daily trip and post trip vehicle inspection to ensure that the vehicle is in the best condition at all timesHandle routine and ad-hoc administrative tasks relevant to the ex*****on of the function; i.e. collect machinery, consumables, documents and deliver to the correct end userCollect, distribute and control movement of documents and deliverable materialEnsure proper and secure control over movement of documents and deliverable materialReport incidents and accidents timeously and compile vehicle condition reports and other records required by ManagementCoordinate and liaise with Management ensure that minor/major vehicle maintenance are carried out.
Desired Experience & Qualification
A Grade 12 qualification with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a driving/messenger environmentProven client focus and orientationSound Interpersonal skillsA Valid driver’s license is essentialPDP is requiredExtensive traveling is required and willingness to work extended hours including overtime.Must be willing to travel between provinces and work weekends.
