We just completed another successful project in the Kalahari Desert Area at Hotazel.

The name speaks for itself as temperatures reached 39 degrees C around 12 noon!

Polux 5 non-destructive wood pole testing – Polux Technology is the ONLY device in the world capable of accurately assessing the remaining strength and internal moisture of in-field wooden poles.

This device has been tested and proven to be the easiest, fastest, most accurate device in over 30 countries.

More than 20 years in the field.

The poles on the photos were inspected the outdated traditional way of drilling holes into the poles and using probes with hooks to estimate the condition of the pole internally.

With the old outdated way of inspection, these poles passed the inspection - result - to be kept in service and not replaced.
Polux 5 was used to confirm the condition of the pole, the pole was tested and a red result obtained.

The pole was taken out and cut off at the groundline marks.

It was proven that the Polux could detect the loss of density and the red result was spot on!

Wood pole testing in the harshest conditions and terrain is possible with Polux 5.
You can take anywhere as it is lightweight and strong with a very high IP rating.

We can access poles that are remote and difficult to get to without the need for a vehicle or additional equipment.
