Last night's show was at The Guild Theatre in East London, Bongeziwe's home town. Needless to say screaming girls couldn't out do the installed PA, another D&B V point system installed by Stage Audio Works, lucky us as the show maintained its sonic consistency. Excellent job by our lighting designer Shaniel, unfortunately my view of the stage was somewhat blocked by a local man bear, clearly loving it.

Always enjoy working in the fountain foyer at the Guy Butler memorial in Makhanda. Nice spot for lighting, surprisingly nice sounding space. For the nerds, I'm traveling with a Midas M32 and our PA is all D&B on D80 amplifiers. 2 x V10p 4 x Q Subs, 4 x Max monitor wedges. A mix of Shure, Sennheiser and Beyer Dynamic microphones, Radial DIS. All provided by Blue Array with 2 bad ass crew. The consistency from show to show is fantastic, soundchecks are a breeze and this PA system fits all the spaces perfectly. Virtual soundchecking and broad stroke adjustments for the room makes light work.

After a very successful 13 show tour in Feb and March, we just wrapped up the German leg of a short run in Europe with Bongeziwe Mabandla in Berlin. Next up Ante Festival in Zurich, and then Feastaville in CPT and main stage at Bush Fire Eswatini.
