MMPS’s people are specially selected for their versatile skills and experience in broadcast engineering (television and radio), audiovisual system design, digital signage, acoustic design, architecture and project management. MMPS invests in high-quality test equipment for acoustic consulting purposes. MMPS has a specialised design and drafting section with CAD, a plotter to provide clients with technical, system design and architectural detail design drawings. MMPS provides expert project coordination and documentation to manage time critical high technology projects. Steve Moss established an audiovisual and acoustics consulting company in 1994. After the democratic changes in South Africa in the 1990s, the company was developed into a broader based empowerment company resulting in the establishment of Mtshali Moss Projects in 2003. MMPS is a sister company to MMPA. As one of the specialist companies on the sub-Saharan continent, MMPS has a history of repeat clients and retainers with many corporates, public list companies and government bodies. MMPS has completed and delivered high-end projects in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria and Angola. • Studio and Acoustic design consultants for new Skyrink TV production studios located above Carlton Centre, Johannesburg.
• Studio and Acoustic consultants for Sasani television studios located at Cape Town Waterfront.
• Acoustic and Audiovisual Consulting and Systems Design to Southern Sun Hotel Group and Tsogo Sun to provide guideline and minimum standards for all hotels, casinos and conference facilities- including design, tender process, procurement, and project management.
• Studio and Acoustic design consultants and project managers for the KZN Music House recording studios.
• Full consulting services for the new 1,900 seat live theatre at Montecasino Entertainment Centre which opened with the Disney’s The Lion King.
• Design and consulting for the new Century City Urban Development in Cape Town – including 18 conference and meeting rooms, hotel, apartments, retail and office block.
• Appointment as studio, broadcast, acoustic consultants and project managers for television and production facility for Dept of Health in Bloemfontein.

• Acoustic Consulting and System Design criteria for sound reinforcement, for the new U’Shaka, Aquarium and Marine Theme Park in Durban, largest in the Southern Hemisphere.
• Design and development of recording studio and CD manufacturing plant in Luanda, Angola for Damler Industries. Currently working on new media centre for same client – studio, acoustic and system design consultants that include TV studio, radio studios, recording studios and transmission requirements.
• Consulting and project management of the new audiovisual “conversations” project at Standard Bank head office, Johannesburg including the installation of 82 LCD, Plasma and projectors throughout the facility with leading edge scheduling and software control.
• Full consulting services for Phase 1 of Montecasino audiovisual gaming facility including the installation and integration of 47 display screens with associated audio systems.
• Full design and consulting services to Hear The Word Ministries 5,000 seat multi facility church auditorium in Harare Zimbabwe
• Audiovisual Consulting, Systems Design and On-Site Project Management for the Rwandan Government’s construction of 2 new 5-Star Hotels and convention centres in Kigali & Gisenyi.
• Design and implementation for Anglogold & De Beers mining groups for the first Video Conference and Audio Conference system between London, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Kimberley; also unlimited live telephone link-up for investment brokers worldwide.
• Technical design, consulting, and project management to Comutanet (Primedia company) for the Rank TV Project, including equipment evaluation, technical integration and coordination, project management of installation, roll-out commissioning of ten giant television screens with audio systems for quality entertainment and advertising in taxi ranks throughout South Africa. This project was the first of its kind on this scale.
• Acoustic Consulting to the SABC for the design and implementation of Botswana Broadcast Corporation’s new Television and Radio studios. This was a 4-year project and completed as a world class facility.
• Acoustic Consulting, Audio and Video design to His Majesty Leruo Molotlegi, King of the Royal Bafokeng Nation in North West Province, South Africa for the Tribal Court, Council Chambers and Corporate Presentation facilities, including implementation and commissioning of new conference facilities, boardrooms, and presentation systems.
• Acoustic Design, Detail Design and full Turnkey Services for the new recording studio complex at Constitutional Hill, Johannesburg. This was sponsored by Nandos.
• Acoustic Design, and full Turnkey Services for the new East Coast Radio studios in Durban, KZN completed in 2020.
