Did you know Sintered stone and Porcelain are NOT the same thing?
Although both surfaces stem from ceramic origins and are kiln-fired at temperatures exceeding 1200ยฐC, their true differentiation rests in mineral composition and compaction force.
Traditional porcelain relies primarily on kaolin clays and feldspar processed under standard ceramic pressing, creating a lighter, although more fragile material, ideal for wall cladding and residential flooring.
Sintered stone, by contrast, compresses a dense formula of 100% natural stone mineralsโincluding quartz, and natural oxidesโunder extreme industrial pressures surpassing 15,000 psi (400 bar). This process replicates natural metamorphic stone synthesis, releasing internal material stress to yield an exceptionally dense, resin-free, and non-porous architectural slab.
