DOL ×2 relocation & other requests.
Client's 3rd Party safety audit determined that two Direct On-Line (DOL) contactor switches need to be relocated, to a safer position.
Also relocated two 16A wall sockets, to ensure compliance.
This was on an aerosol filling line, where flammable liquids and gasses, are present.
✅ Every safety feature is fully duplicated, for redundancy purposes, and, are always in operation, together.
After that exercise, we then went through their main in-feed DB, to check where redundant 3ph cables were routed and, if still energized. Fortunately, all the redundant cables were already safe. They will be totally removed, in due course.
Finally, checked a few single phase 16A wall socket lines for polarity and Earth Leakage test.
Could only do the EL tests, once factory had shut down for the day's shift.
