BMW N54 - 135i E82 - 335i E90 OEM Replacement Charge Pipe

Description

Hose & Parts is proud to release our N54 Charge pipe kit, which is designed to work with your factory diverter valve! The kit features 3″ mandrel bent T6 6061 aluminium pipe with a robust black powder coated finish. Keeping the charge pipe firmly secured to your N54 Engine are 4 ply silicon connectors and stainless steel clamps. In addition to great looks our kit features 1 water m**hanol b**g, 1/8″ NPT plug for those of you not using the m**h b**g, add a CNC machined MAP sensor fl**ge for seamless installation of OEM MAP sensor. The kit offers an OEM like fit, with an aggressive aftermarket sound. Replacing the flimsy, failure prone plastic charge piping are definitely benefits, but adding awesome sound and increasing your ability to hold boost under heavy loads are icing on the cake.

This Performance Intercooler has the following core size (570mm x 300mm x 100mm / stepped = 14,2 Litre), providing a 92% larger frontal area and 97% more volume compared to the original intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. When running higher bhp your engine naturally has an increased demand for more fuel. To offer the engine more fuel its common to increase the injector size, this also means that an uprated fuel pump will be required (as a greater volume of fuel can now be fed through the uprated injectors). Both the fuel pump and injectors then rely on a fuel pressure regulator to accurately control the increased fuel volume.

A fuel regulator acts like a dam, holding back fuel sent from the fuel pump and creating pressure in the fuel lines. A quality fuel regulator needs to be strong enough to hold back increased pressure ensuring that when the injectors open (to feed fuel into the combustion chamber) they have access to as much or as little fuel as required. Insufficient fuel regulators may not hold enough pressure, causing fuel to run back to the tank far too early leaving your injectors running short of fuel.

Our fuel pressure regulators have been designed with performance in mind and offer the exact reliability, flow and pressure control that is required for today’s performance engines.

Manufactured from a billet of aluminium our regulator bodies are finely sculpted to a smooth finish using the latest CNC techniques. The casing is then hand polished before being coated in a hard military grade black anodise, we then equip the inside of the casing with only the finest components available.

Description

Epic Tuning 2.0T Intercooler Piping Upgrade Kit increases power up to +15whp and improves airflow on your 2.0T engine.

The 2.0T Piping Kit includes the Epic Tuning Turbo Outlet Pipe and Throttle Body Pipe to increase power and sound.

The OEM TOP is restrictive due to its small diameter piping. The Epic Tuning 2.0T Turbo Outlet Pipe measures 2.25"/57mm in diameter and is constructed of 6061 aluminium to support higher boost levels.

Upgrading to an Epic Tuning 2.0T Turbo Outlet Pipe allows the turbo to flow the charged air faster which improves turbo spool. Expect torque to come on sooner with less turbo lag.

Included in the kit is a Boost-Proof adapter which protects against high boost levels from more advanced tunes.

FITMENT

Located between your intercooler and throttle body, the Epic Tuning 2.0T Throttle Body Pipe is made of 2.5"/63mm aluminium tubing for better durability than the plastic OEM TBP. This TBP has smooth bends and increased diameter for improved airflow and turbo sound.

This is a must-have if you're going to get all the power out of your 2.0T.

This Intercooler, based on the SeatSport Ibiza Cupra Cooler is the same physically size but has a thicker, full sized core as well as welded end tanks for increased cooling and eliminating the chance of the End Tank separating from the Intercooler Core.

Originally fitted to the Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.9 TDI, this intercooler is a popular upgrade for the Seat Ibiza, VW Polo models as it is a direct fit with our pipe kit. This has been used in applications over 270bhp. The bumper and radiator carrier will need slight modification to fit the intercooler and pipework, but this is not visible once everything is fitted to the car.

We also produce a Hard Pipe Kit for the 1.9 TDI Engines, which removes all of the clip connectors on the Cupra TDI and for retrofitting to lower power models.
