As part of our Day of Doing Good Programme, NPC Margate Plant proudly hosted a beach cleanup in Margate, in partnership with Ray Nkonyeni Municipality. The initiative brought together our employees and community members with one common goal to restore and protect our coastline.

Margate Beach is not only a local treasure but also a vital part of our marine ecosystem. Through this collaborative effort, we removed litter and plastic waste from the shoreline, helping to prevent coastal pollution and raising awareness about the importance of keeping our beaches clean for future generations.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ray Nkonyeni Municipality and all volunteers who made this day a success. At NPC, we remain committed to making a positive environmental impact where we operate.

NPC joined eThekwini Municipality and stakeholders for the International Coastal Clean-Up at Reunion Beach, Isipingo, under the theme “Sea the Change.”

This initiative aims to effect positive change by preventing coastal pollution and raise awareness about its harmful effects.

As part of our flagship Day Of Doing Good programme, NPC’s participation in this programme reflects our broader commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.

Through cleaner production, responsible resource use, pollution reduction and ecological sustainability, we continue to advance a greener future.
