SALES INTERN POSITION
Mining Environment | Witbank
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Sales Intern to join our team in the mining environment.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, gain practical sales experience and develop a career within the mining industry.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate should have:
* Valid driver’s licence
* Grade 12 / Matric
* Good command of the English language
* Computer literacy, including MS Office and email
* Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
* Eagerness to learn and a self-motivated attitude
* Strong time-management and organisational skills
* Social confidence and the ability to handle rejection professionally
* Affirmative Action candidates will be considered in line with the company’s employment equity objectives
* Preferred age range: *25–30 years
* Must be medically fit and able to pass the required *mine medical / Red Ticket
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Support senior sales staff in an entry-level capacity while gaining practical experience and developing knowledge of the mining and sales environment.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Performing daily administrative tasks
* Making and receiving business-related phone calls
* Managing and responding to emails
* Conducting client, market and product research
* Assisting senior sales staff
* Building professional relationships with clients
* Client interaction and follow-ups
* Attending client meetings and mine/site visits
* Learning about company products and services
* Providing general support to the sales team
